It’s a party! Third-party authentication, that is. Wondering what that is exactly? It’s when you log into network apps and websites with your DIRECTV NOW creds. That’s right, your username and password gets you streaming directly at the network source, and you get even more ways to tune in to your must-see shows.
If this is the first time you’re using your favorite third-party app—you’re gonna love it. Getting started is a piece of cake.
Step 1:
Download the app of your favorite channel (HBO GO®, WatchESPN, etc.) to your preferred device.
Step 2:
Select a show or movie to watch, and you’ll be prompted to sign in. Choose DIRECTV NOW from the list of providers and enter your DIRECTV NOW account username and password.
Step 3:
Then, follow the app instructions for how to activate on your device and enjoy!
